Product Development Engineer (Process Development)

• Assist in new phosphor integration programs for future product and technologies.
• Define, contribute, plan and execute phosphor integration roadmaps for Penang.
  Support project leads and cross-functional team members throughout project lifecycle across multiple time zones in ensuring project goals are met.
• Provide technical input into related material and process development activities led by other teams.
• Lead knowledge-building initiatives within the organization through active participation in internal knowledge sharing programs and technical symposiums.
• To independently explore new materials and application processes to understand material behavior, characteristics and effects against integration methods on new and future products.
• Ability to generate new material, process and equipment requirements based on new or future product and roadmap needs.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers to develop new materials and processes, design experiments and prepare reports.
• Hands-on experience with Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Control, Process Flow, Control Plan and Failure Mode Effect & Analysis.
• Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Electrical/Electronic, Engineering Mechanical, Engineering Chemical, Engineering (Others), Applied Science or equivalent
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position
• Good in computer skills
• Strong command of the English language and able to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and in presentations
• Good teamwork & flexible
• Capable of learning and exploring new engineering skills as needed
